Exhibition overview:

 

Resulting from an annual competition the Underwater Photographer of the Year (UPY) exhibition showcases the very best underwater images captured by professional and amateur photographers from around the globe.

The competition receives approximately 4,500 entries from 67 countries, from which 80-100 winning images are selected to form a magical, captivating, and beautiful exhibition.

The exhibition celebrates photography beneath the surface of the oceans, lakes, rivers, and other marine and freshwater environments.

Attracting huge levels of international media attention the images are seen, and enjoyed, by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.

This exhibition is now touring globally, and is available for display in natural history, and maritime museums, science centres, aquariums, and other visitor attractions.

Key exhibition facts:

  •     Space required: suitable for galleries up to 70- 250 square metres
  •     Contains 80-90 images
  •     High resolution disk available for venues to create their own exhibition and/or tour
  •     Target audience: people of all ages, wildlife and photography enthusiasts.
